The most important day of your life? if it is don't leave things to chance and let a friend or family member photograph your most special day!

It takes much more than a budding amatear photographer to record your day in style. A professional photographer and I am not talking about those who simply do a few weddings on a Saturday in between their full time jobs, I am talking about those professional photographers who not only have a good track record, but are fully qualified, have professional backing by one of the major associations and most of all are dedicated to their art.

Gay or straight? - In theory of course it should not matter provided they are professional and have the ability to fully understand their clients requirements. However, in reality the explosion of straight companies trying to cash in on gay and lesbian weddings is clearly evident.

Candid or posed? - There are those who want no posed photographs at all and there are those who prefer a mix of candid (often called reportage) and some posed family and friends groups. So make sure that your photographer is able to offer you the style you are really looking for.

Memorable and stylish or just the average? - That's the main difference between a great photographer and an average one. Only you can decide what makes a memorable image, and how much you want your wedding images to reflect you as an individual. We believe that everyone of our clients should be treated as an individual and our photography defineately reflects this. In our opinion, no two clients should ever receive the same exact style, however most other photographers play it safe and simply do the same old thing with every client - how boring!!! We sell ourselves on our ability to make our clients enjoy their wedding day photography and not have to endure it. Create the right atmosphere and everyone will enjoy themselves and the images captured will reflect this.

Your wedding previews - pick a photographer who can provide you with the latest in online preview systems, so that you, your friends and family can easily preview and enjoy your images online with your own unique wedding gallery.

Good luck in choosing your photographer, however remember this, your photographer can either make or break the atmosphere at your wedding so take some time to choose one that is professional yet friendly, flexible and above all is FUN!
